Description:
This project consists of one large apartment building consisting of 433 units, over 5,300 square feet of retail, and over 13,900 square feet of amenity space. The buildings will be four to five-stories tall and surround a five-level concrete cast in place parking garage.
Structural System:
The apartment building will be constructed with pre-engineered floor and roof trusses supported by wood stud bearing walls for the top floors. We will utilize the exterior and interior sheathing to resist the lateral loads. The wood framing will be supported by an elevated concrete transfer slab which in turn is supported by concrete column, walls and spread footings. The parking garage floors are composed of conventionally reinforced concrete flat slabs supported by concrete columns and walls. We have utilized a few of these walls as shear walls to resist the lateral forces.
