Key Personnel
Roger D. Perkins, Principal
Roger Perkins is a principal for Alliance’s MEP division. He overseas and directs the MEP engineers in all phases of our projects; design for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection. Because of his long standing reputation in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering field he is considered one of the top consultants in the industry.
For the past 20 plus years Roger has successfully managed the MEP side of hundreds of projects including multi family, high-rise, garden style, mid-rise, mixed use, commercial, municipal, clubhouses, fire stations and medical facilities among others throughout the U.S. During his career he has not only garnered the respect of his colleagues, but he has earned 38 certifications including; LEED and NAHB experienced.
In September of 2010, Roger joined Alliance MEP Engineers, Inc. as its Principal. With Roger at the helm of Alliance MEP Engineers, and teaming with Abdi Farah of Alliance Structural Engineers, he can provide a coordinated project; MEP engineers and structural engineers working together in the same office on your project.
Charles Wagner, P.E. , Senior Mechanical Engineer
Charles is our Lead Mechanical Engineer. He is a hands on manager who works closely among the MEP personnel, the architect and builder to assure client satisfaction and adherence to design standards, state and county ordinances.
Charles has worked on numerous types of construction projects. He has designed dwelling unit HVAC systems for concrete high rise and mid-rise condominiums, wood over podium mid-rise and mixed use projects, retail big box and corporate office complexes. He has a proven track record of multiple discipline responsibility, conceptual design team management and client interaction, supervision and mentoring.
Kanar Sarraj, P.E. Electrical Department Head
Kanar is the professional electrical engineer of record for all Alliance MEP projects. She manages the electrical department, oversees and performs engineering design services for clients. She is responsible to analyze building electrical systems and Fire Alarm systems using engineering calculations and engineering principles to determine the design quality. She understands clients needs and find creative solutions to problems and overcome challenges on a project. Kanar is also involved with business development and marketing activities for the company. Kanar served as a Peer reviewer on numerous projects including schools, hospitals and many commercial projects. She is a registered professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. She is certified Fairfax County Peer Reviewer and hold ICC (International Code Consul) Electrical Plan Examiner certificate.
Serge Denizard, CPD, LEED AP Plumbing Department Head
Serge is the Lead Plubming Designer for all of Alliance AMEP projects. In the past fifteen years he has served as a plumbing/mechanical designer, construction inspector, project team leader and plumbing/fire protection director. His vast knowledge and experience makes him the logical choice to coordinate technical data with the client, contractors, and the design team. His experience includes design of plumbing for base building, tenant and renovation projects including office buildings, retail spaces, fitness centers, food service facilities, high rise hotels and condominiums.
Graham Perry LEED Greeen Associate, Senior Project Manager
Mr. Perry is a senior project manager and mechanical engineer for new consruction as well as renovation projects. He has experience with retail shopping centers, mixed used residential/commerical buildings, server and data centers, restaurants, mid-rise office buildings, gas stations, and churches. His role at Alliance MEP includes training younger mechanical engineers, preforming detailed load calculations, formulating equipment specifications, overseeing projects from inception to completion, and proposals. Graham is experienced with LEED, Earth Craft and Energy Star design.
